So glad you’re still around Verity and that is NUTS about the apartment search. Seriously? That is just insane. I’m glad you guys managed to find something and it actually sounds pretty nice, too!

Take your time, RL is a beast. We moved a few months ago and I’m still terribly behind.

Thanks guys! You are always so nice and forgiving of me when I don’t post.

I was a bit surprised that it was Eallair too… he isn’t usually the one to come up with stuff but he had me scribbling down ideas on the way to uni.

Feh… this sucks. I have such writers block with Mhalwae right now. I have written a little bit on my travel blog this week but even that is like pulling teeth and I am writing stuff that actually happened! I guess I really just need to kick myself in the butt and start writing something even if it is crummy.

My husband has horror stories of trying to find apartments when he was a student in Bonn. Being forced to move against your will is awful even when you easily find an apartment again, so I can only imagine the stress.

Hang in there! I’m glad to hear you’re back on your feet. And it is so, so cute that it was Eallair who started talking to you again. He seems like such a quiet type.

I find it a little difficult to write from not miserable Garrick’s POV. I guess I need a bit more practice I was a bit surprised to find that actually.

First, I must simply get this out of my system… “Hope it wasn‘t black and curly.”… LOL!! So wrong.

It’s interesting to think that perhaps Eallair just doesn’t have what it takes in him… but things have a way of turning upside down when you least expect it. I won’t discount him completely just yet.

Very nice to get Garrick’s POV on Eallair! Especially to learn that Lochan has effectively given up hope on Eallair ever becoming a strong leader. (I tend to agree, for otherwise it would have happened before now. Unless the convenient presence of Lochan and Garrick is actually HINDERING it… hmm…)

Also, it never really occurred to me before now that “to maraud” is actually a verb.

Oh, Eallair! I want to hug him and smack him at the same time! It’s nice to see that Garrick still has some hope for him, though. I’m not sure if I do, but who knows? Maybe he’ll have a sudden stroke of genius and rise to the occasion at some point

Interesting collection Garrick’s thinking of starting. I wonder what Cindra would think of that?

Hi guys, sorry for not replying sooner.

They did, in fact just randomly find my picture on flickr. It is kind of cool like that actually. I have had about six pictures of mine they used on Schmap, a free online guidebook and another time a guy asked if they could use my picture of Lindow man (a bog body… I know it is weird, but I studied them at school so I was kind of interested to find him at the British museum) in a Discovery Channel documentary about human sacrifice. They were going to pay me $100 (not much but still… pretty cool for doing pretty much nothing) if they used it. That was a while ago though and I haven’t heard back so I assume they decided not to use it. But that’s fine, because it has given me a boost, seeing that there are people out there who might actually pay for my work. It all does feel like a sign, like this is doable maybe (when I am Doctor Verity ).

It is a pretty exciting preview! And it is coming… in like, 2 or 3 chapters (I haven’t quite decided if I am going to squeeze something in there). It will be more explained in that chapter, what it actually is. I can’t answer any questions about Mara at the moment, but we will gradually find out more and more about her. I totally love her already even though I haven’t written her POV yet and I think you guys will too.

Thank goodness for the Christmas lights Sofie. And Christmas. I have eaten myself into a stupor and feel much better now .

I so wish there was some way to get over writer’s block easily Mao. It happens to me so often and in such a big way. Whenever things get kind of feh in my life I just can’t do anything.
