Hi guys! Just a quick message to say I am going to be away for a week at a workshop in Liverpool. I know… I have such a tough life. Though I am not hugely happy because I have a dreadful cold and I have to give TWO presentations! I am freaking out big time. Anyways… I am hoping to be able to sim the whole weekend when I get back so see you then!

The porridge was sticking again, burning to the sides of the big, cast-iron pot in claggy, blackened clumps. Maire flailed the ladle clamped in her hand around the edges in a feeble attempt to detach the rapidly solidifying globs. Polina would have her hide if she burnt the breakfast again.
Hello all! Remember me? Yes I still exist though I have been rather absent as of late. So I am back for my travels and had a wonderful time (I am completely besotted with Iceland and desperate to go back… it is the most amazing place I have ever been). So since I came back last week things have been very busy and my parents return for a week in Stockholm this evening so I won’t be blogging again till the beginning of September. But when they leave things will return somewhat to normal, boring, less hectic life (though my stress level is going to be high since I am hoping to take my halfway exam in November). But I am desperate to get back to Mhalwae so don’t worry, things will be back on track very soon with only a few trips away during the rest of the year. I miss blogging so much! And reading other people’s blogs! It has been such a crazy summer.
So anyway, that’s about all now… looking forward to writing again in a week or so.

Hi guys. Sorry for being extremely silent and not answery or commenty. I haven’t fallen off the edge of the Earth though I am pretty much heading there today. I haven’t been on the radar the last few weeks because I have been insanely busy trying to get a million things finished before my parents and sister arrived a few days ago. I thought I might get some time to post but it has just been impossible

Hi guys. Well once again (for the third time in two months) I am off to France for a conference. But never fear, I will back on Thursday and haven’t got any more trips planned till July (although something might come up before then). I am hoping to get a bit more settled back into a routine of some sort then, as much as I like travelling sometimes it can be a bit bad taking off every other week. So I am quite looking forward to actually having some length of time in Stockholm for a few months. Anyway, enough rambling… I’ve got to go to bed since I have an early flight to catch tomorrow. Meh… and a Sunday too I want to sleep in instead.

So I am heading off on another adventure. Not too long… just nine days but I might not have much time for the easter long weekend either since my sister is coming over from the Netherlands (she is studying her masters there) for a visit. But never fear, I have taken the pics for my next two posts and hopefully I will have internet connection where I am going and I will have quite a lot of time to write I think. I am heading to Grenoble in France to do an experiment on the synchrotron (wheeee!). But there has to be someone there at all times so we are taking shifts while the experiment is running (some overnight and 12hrs!). So hopefully I will have a lot of time to write (unless my supervisor is sharing a shift with me… then I will be writing but it will be an article and not Mhalwae
Hi guys. I guess you’ve noticed there still is no post. Sorry about that… this week has been crazy and now I am going to be away till Friday in France so I won’t get to post till I get back. I have had a bit of a play around with Bon Voyage when I got a chance so I have a sneak preview for you of the site where the castle is being built (there is nothing there at the moment but there will be soon). I have to say, the thing I am loving most about Bon Voyage is the new lots for it… they are perfect for Mhalwae.
Okay… so without further ado here it is (not terribly exciting but I am excited). And yes that is swimmable beach!

Hi guys… I’m back in Stockholm and must sheepishly admit I have been for a week. But I have to plead extremely horrible jetlag as an excuse for my complete absence from the sims community. It has been really bad… going straight back to work + the jetlag. I have been going to bed at 7! But I am better now after an Australia Day party I had yesterday, I only woke up at 11 today whereas the rest of the week it has been about 5.30.
So… what am I waiting for. Well we are reformatting the computer today and then as long as everything goes smoothly (including installing the new EP and finding all the new features for that… simPE, insiminator etc. I will be back in business. So never fear… I will be posting really soon as well as catching up with everyone’s blogs too.
Merry Christmas everyone!!! Hope you all have a lovely day and eat yourself silly like I have just done (oh the Christmas ham! oh the plum pudding! oh how my stomach aches now). Luckily I am wearing an empire-line dress so there is plenty of space for stomach expansion .
Anyways… sorry about the distinct lack of posts. I have been waaay more busy seeing people and doing things than I had expected so haven’t had much of a chance to write (and I have had some installation problems). I must also rather shamefacedly admit that my dad managed to coerce me and the boyfriend into a trial account with WOW. But luckily it is only 10 days and while I think it is a very awesome game and I am totally amazed by the scope I really can’t afford an ongoing account and even so, it could never replace the sims and Mhalwae for me. But it is has been giving me lots of inspiration for writing and I have some really cool ideas of what to do next.
So… I don’t know whether I will be able to make any posts until I am back in Sweden, I will try but I can’t make any promises. I hope you are all willing to wait a bit longer for the continuation of my story. Also comments on your blogs will happen soon… sorry!
Okies that was way longer than the quick Merry Christmas I planned but anyway have a wonderful time and I hope you get wonderful presents (new sims expansion pack hopefully… I got mine cheap in Hong Kong hurrah!).
Hi guys! So… I am heading off on a very needed holiday tomorrow (and sun… SUN!!!). Three days in Hong Kong (shopping!!!) and then back home to Australia. It is going to be really nice since I haven’t seen my family and friends for a year now (gee I can’t believe it has gone so quickly). I miss them so much! I’m going to be gone for 6 weeks so back again in Sweden on the 21st. So what does this mean for Mhalwae? Well, I had planned to take a whole bunch of pictures in preparation for going there so I would have something to write but unfortunately this didn’t go entirely to plan. The broken hard drive and the completely crazy work build-up before going away have meant I didn’t get enough time. But never fear. I have packed up my sims ready for transport and plan to install on either my work laptop or my dad’s World of Warcraft gaming computer (I might have to fight a bit for sims time then though . So I should be able to get some posts written but probably not as many as usual (although lately usual has been pretty much zilch). And I will try and keep up to date with other people’s blogs but if you don’t get comments don’t feel neglected.
