Children that were never meant to be
Sorry for the delay in putting up a chapter guys. I have two written but I feel like the creepy mood is totally spoiled by the powder blue theme so I want to wait till the new theme is up before I post. The boy is back from Egypt today (in a few hours wheee!) so hopefully he will be keen on finishing the new theme sometime soon *hopes*.
In the meantime, for your entertainment (and mine) I decided to randomly roll some character pairings and see what the kiddies would look like. Here are the results:
Garrick + Maire
I think he is rather spunky. I do love this new curly hair.
Harndall + Maire
Seems like Maire has some great genes hidden away in there. Although I always though Harndall would make pretty babies. Pity he’s a priest…
Harndall + Gena
Or maybe I should take back what I just said about Harndall. I guess at least he has some manly features. It looks like Radomir was somehow added in the mix with that long face.
Radomir + Hepsie
See… Radomir is capable of making sort of okay looking girls. I mean, she is not hideous by any means. I think at least. She is very… handsome 
Arran + Cindra
He turned out rather okay. Definitely has Cindra’s big pouty lip. Atholt has inherited that rather strongly too.
Sigurd + Madlenka
I give up… if breeding Sigurd with my best looking female sim still can’t making something not hideous (well not hideous I guess, but not that nice looking) I doubt there is any way to work through those bad genes. We will just have to see what happens if Varda makes it to the end of her pregnancy.
Steen + Nyawe
He is rather phwoar I think. Nyawe has such excellent genes. Actually, maybe I should have tried her with Sigurd (though I was doing it randomly). Maybe she could get rid of the ugly.
Kelgar + Darina
Kelgar don’t go there! Not that I imagine he ever would (or many of these pairings are feasible at all) but seriously no. Go find someone prettier to make babies with so we can do something better with your lovely genes.
Garald + Isaura
Well, he’s okay but rather boring. I guess the Isaura/Lochan combo is really a winner since Yvaine is so good-looking. Maybe Lochan is the key.
Lochan + Igrayne
Okay, so I am thinking the key factor may in fact be Lochan. She’s so pretty. Can’t I keep her 
And that’s all for now. Hopefully a chapter up really soon. I want to get this story moving again (and I always seem to leave you guys on cliffhangers *sheepish grin*.

Maire’s baby with Harndall and Igrayne’s baby with Lochan are both gorgeous–I’m pretty stoked to see Yvaine when she’s older. Lochan will be fighting off wannabe suitors right left and center… although I suppose since she’s the duke’s oldest daughter, she’ll probably end up marrying Prince Kendrick? Only time will tell 
And Radomir’s daughter didn’t turn out bad at all. She’s not exactly pretty, but it’s not like she’s ugly.
Hmmm… what to do about that Sigurd. Maybe you could get Varda pregnant via the grim reaper using InSim, and then change the baby’s hair color and eyes with Sim PE to pass him off as Sigurd’s? I think that’s what Lothere did for Cenwulf and Edris’s kids, if I remember correctly.
As for Harndall and Gena’s son… I’m thinking it’s Gena. So many times I’ve had good-looking couples produce ugly sons, just because a lot of sim features that look just fine on the female sims look absolutely hideous on the male sims. I think that’s why it’s much more difficult to create a variety of good-looking male sims than it is to create a variety of good-looking female sims.
And yeah, Kelgar needs to make babies with someone pretty *coughLYISScough*
Steen + Nyawe’s spawn looks like a more manly Nicolas, LOL! It’s so much fun to see what random characters combined would look like. I certainly got lucky with Evangeline… she was my first roll. A perfect mix of both, oddly enough.
Awww, Lochan and Igrayne’s spawn is adorable! Look at her cute little nose!
Kelgar and Lyiss would make beeyotiful babies. Cough.
Maybe the blue theme will ADD to the spookiness? Eh, eh? Okay, maybe not. I’ll wait patiently… or try to, at least.
