I spent a lot of time angling the camera just right Mao ;) and I know... how hideously awkward for an already completely awkward young lady.

Yes I know... imagine how freaked she is going to be to see a non-reposed chicken neck!

I think Mahavir is the new hottest man on Mhalwae... he is so good looking. It is that rust skin... it works wonders it really does. We will find out more about Lekha at some stage and what the deal is with her marriage. She isn't overly impressed with Rasmus that is for sure but I am not sure yet if she dislikes him. I haven't seen those two enough together to really know what they are like. I really love her already though... I couldn't help putting her and Mahavir into the story after I made them. Mahavir's wife is super-cute too (she comes from a large archipelago off the coast of the Northern continent that is sort of based on Sweden... well I want an excuse to use some of the language I actually know (and have a handy boyf dictionary for :).

Oh dear... Gay steward... I really need to do a post with him don't I. I have just been busy with everything else. I will do one soon though. It will be fun to see Nyawe complaining with her big belly too.

We will get to see Lyiss and Kelgar briefly in a few chapters (maybe the next, I haven't quite decided what order I will put them in)

I was really happy the way the beach turned out (though I do wish that the colour of the water was more uniform and it is hard to take close up shots in the water). I'm glad it looked seamless... if you look closely in some of the shots you can see the green lines showing lot endings which I really hate :( The landing cove is actually three lots put together with three of the pirate ships. I tried to put people in front of the joins generally but it is quite hard. The ships where a very pleasant surprise... BV has a buyable pirate ship which is for the tropical island setting and looks a lot like the lot one I was using before. The one thing that is really annoying is that the figurehead is a llama! I am going to have to use a lot of tricky angles not to show that. Somehow it doesn't really fit my story (although I can kind of imagine poor Eallair having a llama as his mascot :(.

Yeah, the dress and headress are from one of vectorlover's sets. It seems you need to download a mesh by plicka. I think the hood is a hair but then the headscarf below you put on as a face mask. I can't quite remember though. I really like the way it hangs a bit more softly than the other headscarf mesh. There is another quite cute headscarf which went with Padme's handmaiden's flame gown but I haven't actually tried using it yet.

Chicken neck!

No wait, if she thought it "somehow powerful and frightening even in repose" then she must never have seen one not in repose. And when she does!!

That was awesome, such a fun chapter to read. (And wake up to on a Sunday morning.) So cute how Kelgar was panicking while the first mate was teasing her. (I liked his accent by the way.)

And Lekha was super-cool. It is interesting though to see how she seems to think herself above all these people, keeping herself apart from them and telling her husband they aren't fit to see her boots. And what she said at the end to Lyiss too makes it seem like she is in a really unhappy marriage, maybe with a man she finds repulsive.

Poor Lyiss! But she and Kelgar would be so cute and so perfect together. Pretty please? :-D

I was hoping, with the way this chapter began, to find out what makes Gay Steward tick, but this chapter was even better. If these are some of the "Sims you haven't made yet because you can't resist putting them in the story," keep making!

Also, this set was gorgeous. I have never seen a beach lot with surf yet. It is so incredible the way you had the ships right there. Mhalwae really seems like an island now. And I think you did a good job of framing the shots (and building the lot too), filling up the picture with faces and rocks and things, so that there were mostly just glimpses of beach showing through -- little enough that it seemed "seamless" and you didn't really notice the things that make it look like a video game, but enough to really feel the presence of the beach. (That is some damned clear water!)

Are Lekha's dress and headdress from that Star Wars set on mts2 (which is not loading for me at the moment...)? I have those dresses and am saving them for elves, but I don't recall seeing that headdress in my CC. (I assume it's hair.) I totally need something like that for Irene. I have a headscarf that I use for her, but it looks like a completely different mesh. Maybe I downloaded the hair and am missing that mesh.

More new faces. I'm glad Lekha was able to save poor Lyiss. I loved Kelgar's reaction, too. That shot with him... well placed hand, that's for sure! Was that luck of the draw or did you plan it that way?

It's interesting to see Lyiss again. A little break from all the creepy. I'm wondering if there's an awkward moment ahead for Kelgar and Lyiss, given what she's seen. Her reaction to it was definitely hilarious.
